Leaving A Legacy

Leaving a legacy for Woofability in your will is a wonderful way of securing independence for a disabled person. There are 4,500 people in Dorset and Hampshire who could benefit significantly from the use of an assistance dog.

Your money will help us to train more dogs to help a disabled person live a more independent life in addition to helping with household tasks like opening and closing doors, switching lights on and off, carrying and emptying the washing machine.

If you already have a will, you can change it simply by adding a codicil or amendment; your solicitor can advise you about how it can be done. We always recommend using a solicitor to ensure that your wishes are carried out properly and remember that leaving a gift in your will does not affect your financial position whilst you are alive. If your estate is subject to inheritance tax, a gift to Woofability will be tax free.

We shall be very grateful for your help and you can be assured that your gift will be used wisely and efficiently to  help more disabled people enjoy a fruitful and independent life.

A GIFT FROM OLIVE, who enabled us to buy and train a puppy called “Chad”. He will transform the life of a local disabled person and provide a lasting memory for her family and friends each time they see Chad in the community. Thank you Olive.

Thank you
